Founder and Director of the Interdisciplinary Centre for Law and ICT (ICRI) of the University of Leuven. Research Director at iMinds. Together with the Belgian Minister of Justice, the driving force behind the Belgian Cybercrime Centre of Excellence for Training, Research and Education. Formerly head of TMT at Lawfort (2005-2007) and associate at Simont & Simont (now Stibbe) (1981-1992).
