With a wealth of experience, Savvas specializes in navigating complex cross-border corporate and commercial disputes with successful outcomes and regularly appears before courts of all levels and jurisdictions, representing a prestigious clientele that includes the country’s largest financial institutions, investment firms, accounting and auditing firms and construction companies, international banks, renowned private equity funds and international trusts, as well as high-net-worth individuals and entrepreneurs.
Throughout his career, Savvas has adeptly represented both corporate entities and high-net-worth individuals in intricate legal battles involving issues like fraud, misrepresentation, breach of contract, breach of trust, breach of fiduciary duties, fraudulent transfers, and negligence. His expertise extends to managing high-value international corporate disputes with significant cross-border implications, including obtaining and defending interim injunctions like worldwide freezing orders, asset tracing, and discovery orders. He’s also well versed in handling proceedings related to the enforcement and setting aside of foreign arbitral awards, complex contractual and shareholder disputes, and substantial insolvency matters.
