Career

Konrad has been supporting Japanese projects in Poland for many years. He advises on greenfield investments, helping companies to build their structures here, and brownfield investments within M&A deals. His advice covers a range of areas, from choosing the business legal form and location to obtaining public financial support.

He assists in project development and execution, providing legal support at every stage of the transaction. He conducts negotiations between investors and potential targets, and advises on corporate and real estate issues, and relations with counterparties. He develops solutions tailored to the investor’s needs and verifies legal documentation ensuring compliance with regulations and local specificities.

He produces reports for the Japanese government’s investment agency and manuals for business investors, analysing the legal and business environment in Poland, identifying opportunities and risks.

In addition, Konrad is a classical musician. He is currently the cello concertmaster of the A. Rubinstein Lodz Philharmonic Orchestra. Previously, he worked as a deputy concertmaster of the Sinfonia Varsovia Orchestra, and was one of the leaders of the early Les Musiciens du Louvre music ensemble in France led by Marc Minkowski. He has taken part in prestigious music competitions, including the P. Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow and the M. Roztropovich Competition in Paris.

Awards: Honoured by the Minister of Culture with the ‘Merited for the Polish Culture’ award. Also awarded for his achievements in culture by the Marshal of the Łódź Province. Laureate of the D. Danczowski Competition, the W. Lutosławski Competition and twice of the Schweizer Tonkunstlerverein Competition in Switzerland.

Konrad is also a graduate of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music, and the Musik Akademie der Stadt Basel (Music Academy of Basel, Switzerland). He additionally completed postgraduate chamber music studies at the Conservatoire de Musique de Geneve (Conservatory of Music in Geneva, Switzerland).
