Ashraf started his legal career with a major litigation law firm in Egypt and went on to establish his private practice where he manages the firm.

His practice involved reviewing cases, preparing legal briefs and memoranda and submitting written and oral arguments before commercial, civil, criminal and Sharia courts in Egypt.

His practice with the Firm focuses on litigation and arbitration matters. Ashraf appears before the courts in Qatar and prepares and reviews pleadings, legal briefs, memoranda and written reports and statements. He also advises in relation to litigation strategy and represents clients in settlement negotiations and mediation of disputes.

Ashraf is a member of the Egyptian Bar Association.

The team is retained to represent clients in litigation in the local courts and in international arbitration proceedings to resolve commercial and damages claims, among other areas. Salman Mahmood co-heads the Doha-based team alongside Sultan Al-Abdulla and Ashraf Feshawi. Ahmed Durrani acts as managing associate while handling construction arbitration. Thomas Williams left the firm in October 2023.
