Position

During her professional growth, Miriam focused on the protection of intellectual and industrial assets by assisting national and international clients in litigation on copyright, trademark, patent, know-how and trade secrets protection, unfair competition, advertising and in administrative proceedings for the reassignment of domain names. She is experienced in drafting and negotiating patents and know-how licenses and assignments related thereto.
She provides ongoing assistance to several communication agencies and companies involved in the public relations sector, providing them with legal support aimed at creating advertising, real time marketing and influencer marketing campaigns compliant with the regulatory and self-disciplinary provisions on the matter.
She advises national and international clients active in the art field (namely heirs, galleries, artists, foundations, etc.) about the exploitation and protection of their copyrights and personality rights.

Career

Miriam joined the Law Firm in March, 2018.
Before joining LCA, she had worked in a well-known Milan legal boutique specialized in industrial and intellectual property law.

During her previous work, Miriam had gained significant experience, both judicially and extra-judicially, in the field of software protection, especially through her involvement in numerous anti-piracy raids.

Miriam took part in the XIX edition of the international competition “Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot”, as a member of the University of Pavia team.
Starting from February, 2019, Miriam has been involved with the Chair of Industrial Property Law of the University of Pavia as a teaching assistant.
Miriam is co-author, along with some other colleagues of the Firm, of the volume “Advertising Law – Protection and Litigation” (2020).
She regularly collaborates with editorial titles of the art world.
