Career

Alberta focuses on M&A and corporate finance transactions, including, acquisitions, joint ventures, takeover and/or exchange offers, equity capital market transactions, including, capital increases and IPOs.
Alberta also has, in addition, a consolidated knowledge of Corporate Governance and board dynamics, on one hand, advising corporate bodies (Boards of directors, Internal Committees (Comitati endoconsiliari), Boards of statutory auditors and independent directors) of listed groups in their activities both ordinary and extraordinary and, on the other, having been a member of the Board of directors of Assicurazioni Generali S.p.A. for 3 consecutive terms (from April 2013 until April 2022), holding, among other things, from April 2013 until April 2022, the role of Chairman of the Control and Risk Committee and, for individual 3 year terms, also the role of Chairman of the Related Parties Committee, member of the Nominations and Remuneration Committee (in this capacity also serving as a member of the “ad hoc” Committee set up for the preparation by the Board of directors of its own list for the renewal of the Board of directors itself), as well as member of the Governance and Sustainability Committee.
Finally, Alberta has great experience in the management of business processes related to succession planning and generational changes, on one hand, assisting family groups in their dynamics related to such processes with a pragmatic approach aimed at finding “tailor made” solutions and, on the other, participating, as a speaker, in conferences and seminars on such topics.
