Highly valued transaction adviser. Piret is proud that constant learning, development and hard work enables her to enjoy an excellent reputation as the M&A and real estate transaction adviser and negotiator, referred to as “an irreplaceable partner” by clients. For nearly 20 years Piret has participated as the leader and counsel in numerous landmark mergers and acquisitions. Passionate about negotiations, she believes there is nothing that cannot be solved through negotiations.
Real estate sector expertise. Having notable expertise in the field of construction and real estate, Piret has the privilege to be characterised by clients as “one of the leading legal minds in real estate law, displaying a remarkable sense for detecting and foreseeing risks”. In addition to advising several large construction and real estate companies she has acted as expert and mediator in construction-related disputes.
Contributing to development of law. As part of my mission Piret contributes to better law making as a member of the Commercial Law Committee of the Estonian Bar Association. She also serves as an expert member of the Estonian Ministry of Justice’s Company Law Review Committee, which aims to reform the country’s company law. In addition, Piret stand for the proper balance in protection of all company stakeholders and has published several articles on the topic.
Unlocking potential talent. Piret Jesse has taught corporate law at the University of Tartu for several years and has also been lecturing at corporate and M&A seminars, conferences and training courses. As a team leader she is dedicated to creating a working environment that maximizes the performance and happiness of our highly talented people.
Executive coaching. As helping clients succeed and supporting others in creating better results and a happier life is Piret’ passion, she has become a qualified executive coach. Piret believes that coaching techniques enable her also to be a better team leader and partner to her clients.
