Career
As a seasoned expert in the fields of corporate law and M&A, I also have extensive experience in matters concerning real estate, IP, IT and commercial contracts. I have primarily focused on transactional advice and shareholder relations and find it deeply gratifying to bring transactions to a successful closure. My special area of interest is the fast-evolving technology and startup sector.
Advising high-value deals. Throughout my career I have been involved in a large number of international and local transactions, including several top-value transactions in Estonia and the Baltic region. I have represented management boards, shareholders, national and international strategic investors, investment banks and private equity firms, start-up founders as well as investors.
Result-oriented approach. As someone who loves a good professional challenge, nothing pleases me more than closing complicated transactions and finding working solutions tailored for the client, as well as negotiating and helping to reach an agreement with the other party.
Helping startups succeed. I co-head the firm’s regional startups sector group. Having advised startups from taking their first steps right up to successful exits, I have a solid understanding of their needs in various development phases and extensive experience in advising both on fundraising and daily activities. I have been involved in the preparation of Estonian model documents for investments in startups.
Versatile experience. Having advised clients for nearly 15 years, starting in a small firm and seeing it grow into an international law firm, I have had a chance to practice in different fields of law.
