Career

Senior Associate of the Litigation, Insolvency and Arbitration Department. He joined the Firm in 2015.

He is an expert in resolving complex legal disputes. He has extensive experience in pre-litigation advice and in the legal representation of both judicial and arbitration proceedings.

He has more than eight years of constant presence in procedures followed in the civil and commercial courts at all levels (including Spanish Supreme Court and the European Court). He also has experience acting as a lawyer in national and international commercial arbitration before the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the Spanish Court of Arbitration, or Civil and Commercial Court of Arbitration (CIMA).

He specialises in contractual and non-contractual liability proceedings and has extensive experience in proceedings relating to class actions for the protection of consumers’ collective interests, representing major financial entities. He has also participated in several cases before the Court of Justice of the European Union in connection with preliminary rulings brought by consumers.

In commercial cases, he is particularly experienced in proceedings involving management liability, challenges to corporate shareholders’ agreements and unfair competition.

His area of expertise covers a wide range of sectors such as banking, construction, energy, retail distribution, M&A, real estate, insurance, and agri-food, among others.

He regularly writes articles for online and print media.
