Hana Heroldová is counsel at Kocián Šolc Balaštík, with a strong focus on intellectual property law, civil and commercial contracts, litigation, consumer protection, media and advertising, pharmaceutical law, and criminal liability of entrepreneurs. She brings decades of experience representing major Czech and international clients across regulated industries, creative sectors, and media.

Hana regularly represents Mattoni in trademark disputes, licensing matters, unfair competition cases, and goodwill protection. She has acted for Krátký film and Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty in complex licensing and copyright-related contracts, often with cross-border elements, and advises Seznam.cz on liability issues in digital and VOD content.

She also represents the National Theatre in licensing negotiations and disputes with local and foreign authors and performers, and advises Nike and Bauer in both civil and criminal proceedings related to trademark infringement. Hana has extensive experience with media and publishing clients such as Economia, advising on content liability, personality rights, and source confidentiality.

In the pharmaceutical sector, she advises Astellas Pharma, AstraZeneca, and Lundbeck on matters including clinical trial data protection, advertising, patent-related claims, pricing, and distribution models. Her broader litigation and advisory work includes representation of Ernst & Young, UniCredit Bank, Citibank, Patria, Komerční banka, E Invest, and CMS in general liability matters.

Hana has been a practising advocate since 1994. She earned her law degrees (Mgr., JUDr.) from the Faculty of Law at Charles University in Prague.
