Attorney at law Rūta Karpičiūtė (Pumputienė) is a partner with top-level legal expertise in the Baltic states in the field of regulation of life sciences, healthcare, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and related industries. Her long-standing professional experience spans a wide range of complex cross-border and local commercial law projects as well as other state-regulated industrial sectors related to life sciences, such as food, tobacco, alcohol, gambling. The lawyer’s long-term ongoing projects include consultancy services to the largest COVID-19 vaccine manufacturers and other global innovative pharmaceutical companies in the Baltics on various investment strategy, pricing, compensation, trading, and product regulation issues.

Rūta is also an expert in international intellectual property law, the first in Lithuania to receive the certificate of a trademark and design law expert issued by the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).
