Position

Giovanni de’ Capitani di Vimercate, Equity Partner, has a strong experience in Banking & Finance.
He advises banks and financial intermediaries, as well as companies and private equity funds, in relation to granting of loans and debt restructuring: to this regard, Giovanni handled a large number of complicated restructuring transactions such as Sirti, Maire Tecnimont, Limoni e La Gardenia, Vetrerie Riunite.

Always in favour of banks and financial intermediaries, both Italian and foreign, he provides advice in relation to regulatory matters.

He also assisted many banks in relation to the sale of non-performing loans and leasing portfolios.

He is also specialised in Mergers & Aquisitions, with a strong expertise in particular, in M&A-banking related transactions, such as – recently – those concerning Hypo Alpe Adria Bank, Santander Private Banking and Banca Popolare Lecchese.
