Vid Kobe is the managing partner of Schoenherr’s Slovenian office where he heads the office’s banking & finance practice and co-heads the corporate/m&a department. For the past years, his projects have mostly consisted of acting for Slovenian and foreign financial institutions in distressed / near-insolvency situations, selling consortia in the context of privatizations as well as sellers and buyers in NPL deals. Vid also frequently advises clients from the financial sector on regulatory matters. He holds a LL.M. from the London School of Economics in LL.M. financial law (with distinction), is an author of numerous contributions on Slovenian corporate/M&A and insolvency regimes and has lectured to financial institutions and law students on the principles of financial contracts.
