Recent matters include advising a major international bank in relation to a multi-million euro project finance loan for the development and construction costs of a solar power plant in BiH, and refinancing the facility for the development of the biggest shopping mall in Republika Srpska. The practice also advises the subsidiary banks of a major Bosnian bank on regulatory matters concerning competing voluntary public takeover offers. Team Matija Vojnovic  is based in Belgrade.

Although the practice’s expertise is mostly in takeovers and buy-outs, the team also provides day-to-day advice on corporate matters to clients in the construction, mining, and energy sectors. The real estate, construction and projects practice of Moravcevic Vojnovic and Partners in cooperation with Schoenherr operates out of its Sarajevo office, and is highly specialised and geared towards renewable energy, infrastructure and project finance in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The firm acts as lead counsel on the sponsor’s side in all stages of the project lifecycle, starting from the complex public procurement process, and concession and EPC contract negotiations, up to the structuring of all aspects of the project’s financing model. The team is led by Belgrade based partner Matija Vojnovic.
