Pia Kirstine Voldmester is head of Kromann Reumert’s data protection practice group; she offers advice on data protection and marketing law and has a right of audience before the Danish Supreme Court

Pia has more than 20 years of experience in advising on data protection law and has gained considerable insight into and experience of all aspects of personal data protection law, including handling of numerous, complex compliance projects, complaints, regulatory disputes, personal data breaches, and cyber crime attacks.

Throughout her career, Pia has been representing businesses in highly publicised cases involving data protection and marketing law, regularly conducting some of the most high-profile and noteworthy legal actions before the Data Protection Agency, the Consumer Ombudsman and the courts.

Pia is widely recognised as one of Denmark’s leading lawyers in her field and is one of only two Danish lawyers to have been named in the GDR100 list of the world’s top 100 advisers on personal data law. As the only Danish lawyer, Pia has been appointed by the Danish Minister for Justice to serve on the Data Protection Council, which is the chief administrative body of the Danish Data Protection Agency.
