The firm: A&L Goodbody’s Belfast office works with domestic and international companies and government bodies in relation to their business activities in Northern Ireland. We provide the full range of corporate legal services including corporate, banking and financial services, commercial property and litigation.
We have advised on some of the most significant, challenging and complex assignments in Northern Ireland in recent years.
The Belfast and Dublin office teams work closely together in providing fully integrated legal services across the island of Ireland.
Our Corporate team dominated the Northern Ireland M&A market in 2024, advising on over £2bn of disclosable transactions across the year. The firm played a key role in many of the largest and most complex deals, including advising on the three highest value deals in the market last year – the acquisitions of Phoenix Energy, Kingsbridge Healthcare Group and Mannok. (Experian, 2025).
