Pedro Ivo Gricoli Iokoi is a partner at Iokoi, Paiva, Jonasson e Scalzaretto Advogados. He holds a Master’s and Doctorate in Criminal Procedural Law from the Law School of the University of São Paulo (USP); and a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the Law School of the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUCSP).
He is a Professor of the Postgraduate Program at IBMEC, ESA-OABSP and ESMP; and Treasurer Director of CAASP-OABSP as well as being a Member of CEAPRO – Center for Advanced Studies in Procedure; the Brazilian Institute of Procedural Law; and the Former President, Treasurer Director and Secretary General of the Brazilian Bar Association, Pinheiros Sub-Section.

Gustavo Jonasson de Conti Medeiros is a partner at Iokoi, Paiva, Jonasson e Scalzaretto Advogados and a member of the firm’s Labor and Employment practice. He represents Brazilian and international clients in complex labor and employment matters, including strategic litigation, labor relations, workplace compliance and executive employment issues. He holds a Master’s Degree in Labor Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP) and postgraduate degrees in Corporate Labor Law and Corporate Labor Relations Law from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV-SP). He is also an Assistant Professor of Labor Law at PUC-SP.

José Diaz – Partner in Demarest’s Mergers and Acquisitions and International Trade and Customs practice areas, José Setti Diaz holds a master’s degree in Law from Universidade de São Paulo (USP). His main clients include the Menin Group, the private equity fund Aqua Capital, as well as major domestic and multinational companies operating in the agribusiness, forestry, paper and pulp, chemical, and steel sectors. Luciana Cossermelli Tornovsky, partner, Demarest Advogados
Luciana Cossermelli Tornovsky – Partner in Demarest’s M&A, Corporate, Private Equity and Venture Capital practice areas, Luciana holds an LL.M. from Harvard Law School and a postgraduate degree from Harvard University’s International Tax Program (ITP). She previously worked at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP in New York, USA. Luciana has extensive experience in domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, advising Brazilian and international clients across a wide range of industries, including chemical, pharmaceutical, healthcare, automotive, and technology. She has assisted in highly complex transactions involving acquisitions, mergers, spin-offs, joint ventures, and corporate reorganizations. At Demarest, Luciana is currently a member of Demarest’s Executive Committee and has led the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) area, which encompasses the Social Responsibility, Diversity & Inclusion, and Pro Bono groups. Pedro Romano Fragoso Pires is a Brazilian attorney and Florida-certified Foreign Legal Consultant with three decades of legal experience spanning Brazil and the United States. He holds an LL.M. from the University of Miami and is fluent in Portuguese, English, and Spanish.
Pedro advises companies, financial institutions, entrepreneurs, and high-net-worth individuals on cross-border legal, compliance, and investigative matters involving Brazil, the United States, and Latin America. Carolina De Nardi is Senior Director and Chief Counsel for Latin America at Zoetis, leading the Legal & Compliance function across Brazil and the region. She brings 25 years of in-house legal experience, including 19 years as Head of Legal & Compliance and 10 years leading Legal in Latin America, with expertise spanning complex contract negotiations, M&A and post-merger integration, litigation management, and government relations.

Maria Madalena G. Porangaba, Head of Legal, CCEE
Maria Madalena Gonçalves Porangaba is Executive Legal and Market Security Manager at the Brazilian Electric Energy Trading Chamber (CCEE) and Chair of the Energy Committee of the São Paulo Lawyers Institute (IASP). She holds an LL.M. in Civil Procedure from the University of São Paulo (USP) and postgraduate degrees in Energy Law from IBDE and Oil and Gas Law from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV).
With more than two decades of experience in the energy sector, she has developed expertise in regulatory matters, strategic litigation, contracts and market governance. Throughout her career, she has led high-impact initiatives involving market security mechanisms, financial operations and regulatory structuring, combining legal expertise with a strong business-oriented approach.
Madalena is also recognized for driving organizational improvements, implementing performance indicators and developing multidisciplinary teams, contributing to the advancement and modernization of Brazil’s energy sector.

André Margato, Head of Legal, Latin America, JCB
André Margato is Head of Legal & Compliance for Latin America at JCB, a global company operating in the construction and agricultural machinery sectors. In this role, he leads the region’s legal and compliance agenda, with responsibilities spanning corporate governance, commercial operations, litigation management, risk mitigation, and strategic business support.
His career has been built in complex and highly operational environments, particularly across the engineering, construction, and oil & gas sectors. Prior to joining JCB, he worked at companies including the Italian Argentinian Techint Group, where he gained significant experience in EPC projects, contract management, and dispute prevention.
His professional approach is driven by the belief that the in-house legal function should go beyond a reactive support role, becoming a business-oriented governance platform. For André, modern legal leadership requires technical excellence, commercial awareness, operational discipline, and the ability to anticipate risks before they evolve into disputes.
André holds an MBA in Business Management from the University of São Paulo, a specialisation in Tax Management from UNICAMP, and a Master’s degree focused on Alternative Dispute Resolution from Escola Paulista de Direito. He has also completed executive programmes at Fundação Dom Cabral, Insper, and SDA Bocconi.
Rafael Tardocchi, legal director – corporate, compliance & legal operations, Bayer
Rafael Tardocchi is the Legal Director – Corporate, Compliance & Legal Operations at Bayer. He is a lawyer with more than 20 years of professional experience working in the pharmaceutical and agribusiness industries. Rafael graduated in Law from Mackenzie Presbyterian University, as well as receiving a postgraduate in Business Contracts from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV-SP) and MBA in Leadership, Innovation and Management 4.0 from PUC/RS.
He started his career at Pfizer and joined Bayer in 2013 in the Legal BP team for the Healthcare division. He currently serves as Compliance and Data Privacy Officer, in addition to being responsible for the legal teams that serve all corporate areas, including Compliance and Legal Operations, for Bayer’s Agricultural, Pharmaceutical and Consumer divisions.
Tatiana Malamud, chief legal and compliance officer, Stone
Tatiana Malamud is the Chief Legal and Compliance Officer of StoneCo Ltd. (Stone), leading a multidisciplinary team. She is also a member of the board of the Stone Institute, which invests in social, educational and cultural projects.
Tatiana built her career in prominent financial institutions and law firms in Brazil, where she developed her expertise in the financial and capital markets. She worked as a lawyer and executive at Banco Bozano, Simonsen, Santander, Safra and Original, was a partner at Barbosa, Mussnich and Aragão and founding partner of Malamud Altit, where she worked for 4 years before joining Stone.
Graduating from UERJ, Tatiana also holds an LLM from Columbia Law School.
For 17 years she was a member of the legal committee of ANBIMA (self-regulatory entity of the Brazilian capital market) and, for one year, she was a member of the Court of Ethics and Discipline of the Brazilian Bar Association, São Paulo Section (OAB/SP).
