Medea Solevad Plesner, legal director, Kennedys
Medea is a Legal Director at Kennedys’ Copenhagen office. She qualified in Denmark in 2001 and was admitted to the High Court the same year.
Medea has extensive experience within insurance law. Medea is specialised in Directors and Officers liability insurance, Professional Indemnity, Property, BI loss and Cyber security & Regulatory and is an experienced litigator with respect to both defence and coverage issues.
Thomas Lau Christensen, head of risk and insurance, Nordic Leisure Travel Group
Thomas Lau Christensen has extensive experience in risk management and insurance, with a particular focus on Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and ensuring that risk management contributes to tangible business value and better strategic decision-making.
For the past four years, Thomas has been Head of risk and insurance at Nordic Leisure Travel Group A/S. He serves as Chair of DARIM – the Danish Risk Management Association and is a member of the CBS Advisory Board for Markets & Innovation, contributing perspectives at the intersection of risk, business strategy and innovation.
Thomas also has a significant international profile within aviation and flight safety. He has been actively involved in the development of the current ICAO framework for Safety Management Systems, and has extensive academic experience in aviation safety, risk management and executive education.
Across his work, Thomas focuses on connecting risk, strategy and value creation, turning Enterprise Risk Management from a governance discipline into an active contributor to better business decisions and long-term performance.

Jasmin Cao Dam, client advisor, assistant vice president, Marsh Europe
Jasmin is a Client Advisor, AVP, at Marsh’ Copenhagen office. She advises clients on cyber risk and specializes in placing tailored cyber insurance solutions for large and complex risks across industries.
With experience advising clients in a range of sectors, Jasmin combines technical expertise with a strong focus on delivering solutions aligned to clients’ strategic needs.
She holds a master’s degree in business administration and commercial law from Aarhus University and is a certified insurance broker.
