Medea is a Legal Director at Kennedys’ Copenhagen office. She qualified in Denmark in 2001 and was admitted to the High Court the same year.
Medea has extensive experience within insurance law. Medea is specialised in Directors and Officers liability insurance, Professional Indemnity, Property, BI loss and Cyber security & Regulatory and is an experienced litigator with respect to both defence and coverage issues.
Thomas Lau Christensen, head of risk and insurance, Nordic Leisure Travel Group
Thomas Lau Christensen has extensive experience in risk management and insurance, with a particular focus on Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and ensuring that risk management contributes to tangible business value and better strategic decision-making.
For the past four years, Thomas has been Head of risk and insurance at Nordic Leisure Travel Group A/S. He serves as Chair of DARIM – the Danish Risk Management Association and is a member of the CBS Advisory Board for Markets & Innovation, contributing perspectives at the intersection of risk, business strategy and innovation.
Thomas also has a significant international profile within aviation and flight safety. He has been actively involved in the development of the current ICAO framework for Safety Management Systems, and has extensive academic experience in aviation safety, risk management and executive education.
Across his work, Thomas focuses on connecting risk, strategy and value creation, turning Enterprise Risk Management from a governance discipline into an active contributor to better business decisions and long-term performance.

Jasmin Cao Dam, client advisor, assistant vice president, Marsh Europe
Jasmin is a Client Advisor, AVP, at Marsh’ Copenhagen office. She advises clients on cyber risk and specializes in placing tailored cyber insurance solutions for large and complex risks across industries.
With experience advising clients in a range of sectors, Jasmin combines technical expertise with a strong focus on delivering solutions aligned to clients’ strategic needs.
She holds a master’s degree in business administration and commercial law from Aarhus University and is a certified insurance broker.

Kasper Kitaj, partner, Driv Kapital
Kasper Kitaj leads Driv Kapital’s expansion into the Danish market, where he is responsible for sourcing, executing and developing the fund’s investments in Danish lower mid-market companies. He led Driv Kapital’s first Danish platform investment, the acquisition of a majority stake in facility management group Serwiz – which in parallel acquired Kongsvang – and continues to build the fund’s pipeline of dialogues with Danish business owners and advisors. Kasper brings more than 20 years of experience in private equity, M&A and corporate finance to this role, having previously held senior investment roles at Waterland Private Equity, Zibra Partner Equity, A.P. Møller – Mærsk and Lundbeckfonden, having worked across several asset classes in investment management and M&A. He is known for his pragmatic, hands-on and solution-oriented approach, strong commercial judgement and ability to keep focus on value-creation.
Emil Bisgaard, partner, Poul Schmith
Emil Bisgaard, partner and Commercial Law Consultant at Poul Schmith, has significant experience in procurement of IT systems and IT services and drafting and negotiating IT contracts under the procure-ment rules, including both standard tender processes and more complex procurements in critical infra-structure and other regulated sectors.
He assists clients with the legal aspects of cyber and data security, including how to comply with regula-tory requirements such as NIS2, DORA, CER, CRA and GDPR. The advisory services include both stra-tegic compliance work and the practical incorporation of regulatory requirements into the organisation’s management, processes and contracts with suppliers and business associates. Emil also advises on cyber and data security in contractual connections including in complex supplier and outsourcing matters.
Henrik Christiansen, cisis negotiator, Delta Crisis Management
Henrik Christiansen is a Crisis Negotiator at Delta Crisis Management. He works with organisations facing high-pressure situations, helping leadership teams navigate complex crises with clarity and control.

Sam Jalaei, managing partner, Magnusson Law
Sam is a Danish attorney-at-law and Managing Partner of Magnusson Denmark, Head of Corporate M&A & Private Equity, Head of Capital Markets of Magnusson Denmark and also Heads the Middle East Desk of Magnusson firmwide. Sam was also the Chairman of Magnusson Denmark from 2016-2022.
