With more than 30 years’ of experience in the local market, we have advised clients on some of the most prominent transactions in the Middle East. Our notable deals include advising Arab Company for Projects and Urban Developments, a subsidiary of Talaat Moustafa Group Holding, on the first Sukuk issuance in Egypt with a value of EGP 2 billion, with final maturity at the end of 2024. We also advised BNP Paribas on the USD 469 million SACE-covered (Italian export credit agency) buyer credit term loan facility to the Egyptian Electricity Holding Company, named as Euromoney Trade Finance Journal’s “Deal of the Year.” Another notable deal was advising EFG Hermes as the sole global coordinator and joint bookrunner on the USD 170 million global offering by ADES International Holding Ltd., on the London Stock Exchange, named “Equity Deal of the Year” at the IFLR Middle East Awards. We were also advising various development consortia opposite International Finance Corporation (IFC) on five of the IFC’s 13 solar PV projects under Round 2 of the Egyptian Government’s Feed-in Tariff (FiT) program named “Global Multilateral Deal of the Year” at the Project Finance Magazine Awards.
