With extensive experience in major oil and gas, power and water, engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), infrastructure, transport, and environment projects, our team provides exceptional corporate, commercial, banking/finance, real estate, projects, and construction law advice.

Our expertise extends to some of the largest and most complex power and infrastructure projects in Oman. We have advised various consortia on numerous greenfield IWP and IPP projects, representing both sponsors and lenders. Our services include financing, term sheet and security package negotiation, compliance with Sector Laws, review of project agreements, permits for construction and operation of the plants, corporate governance matters, applicable rules and regulations relating to closed and public joint stock companies in Oman, and IPO matters.

We are a leading participant in public-private-partnership projects in Oman, and our extensive knowledge of Omani practice and close working relationships with key regulators position us to understand and shape market practice in Oman’s capital markets.

As a market leader in DCM, ECM, and investment funds, we have advised on many significant transactions, including the Ahlibank and Bank Nizwa rights issues. Our recent experience includes advising on high-profile M&A transactions in various sectors, such as telecoms, insurance, and hospitality, as well as Rakiza’s recent subscription and purchase of shares in a project in Khazaen Economic City.

Private equity/venture capital is another core area of our practice, and we are driving market practice in Oman in this space. Our investment funds experience is unparalleled in Oman, with our Head of Corporate, Jeremy Pooley, recognized as a leader in the field.

In addition to our exceptional legal knowledge, we pride ourselves on our deep understanding of Omani practice and our close working relationships with regulators. This unique combination allows us to provide our clients with unparalleled advice and to shape the market practice in Oman’s capital markets.
