Key Experiences

1. Nautilus Tug & Towage
   Representing a director of Nautilus Tug & Towage Sdn Bhd in an action filed in the KL High Court for leave to initiate statutory derivative proceedings under s 347 of the Companies Act 2016 on behalf of Nautilus against members of its management and directors for breach of their statutory and fiduciary duties.
2. Crest Worldwide
   Advising Crest Worldwide, a developer of The Crest Jalan Sultan Ismail, with respect to contentious aspects of its insolvency, acting for the liquidator in respect of a challenge to its appointment by a former director.
3. Telekom Malaysia
   Representing Telekom Malaysia in denying and refuting unfounded allegations of conspiracy advanced against the client in a counterclaim covering two civil suits initiated by Celcom (Malaysia) Berhad and Technology Resources Industries Berhad for conspiracy and breach of statutory and fiduciary duty.
4. Johore SSI
   Defending State Secretary, Johore (Incorporated) (SSI) in a suit brought by Quarry Ventures Holdings Sdn Bhd for purported breach of a privatisation of quarry agreement entered into with the State Government of Johor Darul Ta’zim and SSI.
5. 52 homebuyers
   Representing 52 homebuyers who sued a property developer for negligent misrepresentation/ breach of contract in respect of their properties in a housing development developed by the property developer in a township in Rawang.
6. OSK Property
   Representing Wawasan Rajawali Sdn Bhd (WRSB), a subsidiary of OSK Property Holdings Berhad, in defending a misrepresentation/breach of contract suit brought by 122 homebuyers of a condominium project developed by WRSB in its mixed development in Cyberjaya.
7. Iskandar Investment Berhad
   Representing Iskandar Investment Berhad (IIB) in two suits brought by purchasers of leases over strata parcels in high-rise developments developed on lands owned by IIB in Medini Iskandar, Johor.
8. National railway owner
   Representing Malaysia’s national railway owner and operator in respect of a dispute stemming from the termination of a contract awarded to Dhaya Maju LTAT Sdn Bhd for the Klang Valley Double Tracking project on grounds of national interest.
