Defending a high value Employment Tribunal (ET) claim for Commerzbank AG which has been through various stages of appeal and which potentially raises new law on TUPE.

Advised on a $5.8 billion dollar transaction in relation to the UK employment aspects of our client’s acquisition.

Advised on a $1 billion dollar sale of our client’s business to another, advising on the pre-transaction restructuring involving assisting the client with a staggered redundancy process.

Assisted our client with the employment aspects of its post-signing activity following the purchase of a well-known music streaming service.

Advised our client on the transfer of 50+ employees to a new shared services entity.

We acted for a venture capital backed tech business on its recent global rationalisation project, coordinating the exercise across 15+ countries.

Advised a technology client on the UK and Irish HR aspects of its $3.5 billion dollar merger.

 

Supporting Omnipresent with their rapid growth as an international professional employer organisation by co-ordinating and providing bespoke advice in relation to key employment law topics in 60+ countries across the globe. GQ|Littler also sent an Associate (Megan Todd-Jones) to Omnipresent on a 3-month secondment to support with this and other employment-related projects and continue to work closely with Omnipresent on their global employment law needs.
