Andrew Scott KC notably represented the claimant in the high-value Skatteforvaltningen v Solo Capital Partners LLP and others case, where the Danish authority seeks to recover money – which it alleges to be the proceeds of a large cum-ex fraud – from a Dubai-based, British-led hedge fund. In Upham v HSBC, Andrew Green KC acted for the defendant in a £1.3 billion fraud claim where the High Court ruled that HSBC did not deceive hundreds of investors into financing a Disney movie tax relief scheme.
