Georgina Hirsch is ranked for both employment law and telecommunications regulation.

She covers the full range of employment and industrial law, and offers a particularly unique insight on trade union related issues, having acted for both sides and at a particularly senior and strategic level for a major trade union.

Her telecoms work ranges from wayleaves cases to challenges to regulatory decisions, and competition law compliance, having represented clients in the Upper Tribunal, Competition Appeal Tribunal, and Court of Appeal.

Career

Her pre-Bar experience as a solicitor working in industry, and then as Legal Director of Unite the Union, as well as in private practice, gives her a unique insight for her advice and advocacy work.

She specialised in the financial aspects of her MBA and this enhances her work on the financial and accounting evidence in regulatory and tax cases, as well as employment cases in the finance sector.

She is a calm and confident advocate who provides proactive and practical support.

She has a wide range of repeat clients, is on a retainer for an international retailer, and sits as Royal Mail NAP Chair.

She regularly writes for ELA and other publications.
