Position

Gabrielle deals with a wide range of property related disputes and has particular expertise in disputes arising from development ( easements, boundaries, covenants and adverse possession) .

She is experienced in dealing with issues arising from commercial leases, and acts for both landlords and tenants in a variety of claims such as tenant insolvency, dilapidations and lease renewals.

Gabrielle also regularly advises on residential tenancies and heads up the team undertaking residential possession claims for a legal expense insurer. She also deals with matters arising from long residential leases and appears in the First Tier Tribunal in a range of matters such as service charge disputes or the Tribunal appointed Managers.

Gabrielle mentors junior lawyers within the Property Litigation team and delivers seminars to local letting and managing agents.

Career

Gabrielle grew up in the Brighton area and trained to be a Solicitor at a local Sussex firm and qualified in 2003. After qualification, she spent a number of years working within the Property Litigation team at Blake Morgan before returning to Brighton and joining Dean Wilson LLP in 2012, becoming a Partner in 2016.
