Personal Injury: Claimant
Position
Senior Associate
Career
Mick is a Senior Associate in our Personal Injury team.
Mick trained with Ashtons Legal and then worked for many years in a personal injury team at Cambridge. Until recently he was a Partner at an injury law firm but returned to Ashtons Legal in November 2021.
During his career, Mick has worked exclusively for injured clients to ensure that they receive not just the right level of compensation but also the support, treatment and rehabilitation they need.
The majority of his work has been in relation to those suffering a traumatic brain injury.
Mick is a member of Apil.
Mick has a reputation for taking on difficult liability cases that other lawyers have rejected and he works tenaciously to ensure that his clients get, not just the right level of compensation, but also the support, treatment and rehabilitation they need.
Mick understands that an injury can have a devastating impact on a person’s life and that of their family and believes there is little more rewarding than playing a part in securing what is needed to make that person’s life and their family’s lives better and trying to restore as much normality as possible so that they can go on with their lives.
Outside of work, Mick supports Norwich City Football Club and has a keen interest in cars and travel. He is a former member of the England Karate team and a former British Champion and European bronze medallist. Mick also enjoys spending time with his family and his two young children.
Memberships
Mick a member of APIL and was ranked as a “next generation lawyer” in Legal 500 2018.
