Poland > Dispute resolution
(Leading associates)CMS‘s ‘dispute resolution practice is one of the most renowned in Poland’. It is highly adept at representing construction companies and financial institutions in disputes, and it regularly represents the latter in large class actions. Another core feature of the practice is its experience in proceedings before the CJEU, handling preliminary questions regarding the interpretation of EU law. The group has also witnessed an increase in consumer disputes in the Polish market. Anna Cudna-Wagner spearheads the wider team with expertise in contentious banking mandates, while Arkadiusz Korzeniewski leads the corporate crime practice and Rafał Morek heads up the arbitration group; he is also lauded as a’recognised authority in the field of construction disputes‘. This is also an area of strength for Adam Jodkowski, and for Jan Markiewicz, infrastructure projects form a key part of his practice.
