Career

Agata Jurek-Zbrojska heads one of the largest real estate teams in Poland, comprising approximately 40 experienced lawyers

For over twenty years Agata has successfully advised on the largest real estate transactions in Poland and on numerous cross-border projects, with particular focus on office, commercial, logistics and residential real estate at all stages of the investment process.

She has advised on the first projects in the pioneering PRS (apartments for rent) market in Poland. Her experience includes comprehensive legal support of transactions for local and international investors, developers and real estate funds active in the CEE region. In particular, she advises on strategic aspects of acquisition and sale transactions, joint venture, structuring and restructuring in all market segments.

Working across both the public and private construction sectors in Poland, CMS advises a client roster of contractors, designers and investors on both non-contentious and contentious matters. The team’s advisory provision covers mutual and subcontractor claims and infrastructure-specific guidance, especially in connection with the road and railway. Outside of their advisory services, the firm also represents clients in large-scale construction disputes. Agata Jurek-Zbrojska, who specialises in the oil and gas and renewable energy spaces, brings extensive experience to assisting with construction projects, from the preparing and negotiating of construction contracts based on FIDIC standards and development agreements to construction works contracts.
