Career

Joaquín is an associate in the Environmental area of CMS Grau specialized in environmental law, administrative law and regulation of extractive industries and energy.

He has experience in administrative proceedings before the Energy and Mining Investment Supervisory Agency (Osinergmin) and the Environmental Evaluation and Oversight Agency (OEFA), in the analysis of technical files, as well as in contentious proceedings in electricity and environmental matters. He has actively participated in the production of academic literature in the Publications Commission of the Administrative Law Circle of the PUCP, and as a research assistant for the Yale Law School.

Before joining CMS Grau, Joaquín collaborated at the Technical Secretariat of Osinergmin’s Resolving Bodies, and was also a legal analyst at the Technical Secretariat of OEFA’s Environmental Oversight Tribunal. He has completed specialization studies in Administrative Law at the PUCP, and was a fellow of the Governance and Biodiversity Management course at the School of Government and Public Policy of the same university.
