Andres is a partner at Consortium Legal – Costa Rica and co-director of the Litigation Area. With more than 21 years of experience as a Lawyer and Notary Public, he specializes in civil and commercial litigation, in arbitration and judicial proceedings.
In his experience, he has participated in complex litigation related to disputes of Foreign House Representatives, application of the Condominium Property Law and Real Estate Law in general; Contentious Administrative and Treasury proceedings against the Public Administration; disputes related to breach and resolution of contracts between national and international companies, litigation at the corporate level, among others.
He also has extensive experience in judicial collection processes, foreclosure, mortgage, and chattel guarantees, among others. He has served as a university professor at the University of Costa Rica, Escuela Libre de Derecho and Universidad La Salle.
