Regarding patent prosecution, Sebastián has significant experience in managing patent portfolios both in Chile and abroad, collaborating with international law firms. He has handled numerous third-party opposition proceedings, appeals, and appeals before the Industrial Property Court and the Supreme Court.
In transactional work, he has extensive expertise in negotiating, reviewing, and drafting technology transfer agreements, including conducting thorough due diligence in the context of mergers and acquisitions, patent assignments and licenses, collaboration and service agreements, joint ventures, co-ownership agreements of patents, non-disclosure agreements related to know-how and trade secrets related to patents, among others.
