Career

Nick is an expert in all aspects of dispute resolution. He has significant expertise in class/ group actions and mass tort litigation, having acted for clients in many of the most significant class action disputes in South Africa. He has substantial experience in contractual disputes and general commercial litigation, with a particular focus on  arbitration, both internationally and domestically and alternative dispute resolution. He is a member of the Management Committee of the Arbitration Foundation of Southern Africa. In addition, Nick has developed a burgeoning reputation for business crimes and investigations. He has advised clients in many different sectors, and in particular, the mining/ resource and telecommunications sectors, during which his practice has traversed many cross-border and multi-national disputes.
