Career
Tyron specialises in cross-border and domestic engineering and construction transactions in the mining, property, infrastructure, and energy sectors. He renders advice in relation to drafting and negotiating engineering and construction contracts (standard forms such as the FIDIC and NEC forms of Contract and bespoke arrangements); legal disputes; applicable legislation; and the management and administration of claims. Tyron began his legal career at Webber Wentzel working mostly on the EPC and O&M elements of project finance transactions in the energy space. He then shifted focus to dispute related matters, working across a broad range of construction related disputes. Having gained experience on both the front and back-end of construction related matters, he then began focusing on transactional work involving matters in the built environment and continues to advise clients on a broad range of construction related matters.
