Career

​Calvin specialises in commercial law, providing such services to commercial, corporate and governmental institutions and State enterprises.  He has experience and has also been involved in various types of matters and areas of law and in particularly in Presidential Job Summit Housing Project and the Gautrain Rapid Rail Project in all legal matters relating to the procurement process. He has assisted Government Departments and State Owned Enterprises in their procurement initiatives, including a number of Public Private Partnership, at various stages  of the aforementioned from due diligence, structuring procurement process, preparing procurement documents, evaluation of responses, negotiation and implementation. He has also provided ad hoc support on a number of Projects, including Public Private Partnership Projects (PPP), in reviewing and commenting on various commercial documents including joint venture agreements, lease of immovable and movable property and opinions​
