Wihan Meintjes is a partner in Bowmans’ Johannesburg office Dispute Resolution Practice. He specialises in international arbitration with a focus on private international arbitrations. He has particular experience handling multi-jurisdictional matters and matters within the built environment, although his expertise extends to investor-state disputes. He has BCom and LLB degrees (both with distinction) from the University of Pretoria and has completed an Advanced Postgraduate Certificate in Construction Contracts (with distinction) also at the University of Pretoria. He serves as the regional editor of the Africa Construction Law Blog for the Southern Africa region, co-chairperson of Young AFSA and was an Ambassador for the EMEA Cross-Examination Course 2024, Delos Dispute Resolution.
