Pride Jani is a partner in our Johannesburg office Finance Practice. He specialises in debt and preference share finance transactions across a variety of sectors, and is recognised by the Legal 500 as a ‘Next Generation Partner’ in banking and finance. He is a skilled negotiator with considerable experienced in drafting and negotiating the documentation underpinning finance transactions and is a trusted adviser to his clients. He is actively involved in helping develop the next generation of lawyers through his mentorship of junior lawyers in different stages of their careers.

(Next Generation Partners)Allen Leuta and Ulrike Naumann co-head the banking and finance practice at Bowmans, which continues to handle a high volume of sustainability-linked funding transactions and large-scale restructurings. Cross-border mandates are prominent in the ‘responsive and knowledgeable‘ team’s workload, and the group is well versed in representing borrowers and lenders in complex matters.
