Gerhard Rudolph is a partner in Bowmans’ Johannesburg office Dispute Resolution Department. He specialises in a wide range of contentious and risk management issues including civil litigation, arbitration proceedings and investigations. He represents clients in complex transactional, public law and regulatory disputes and enforcement proceedings, and restructuring and insolvency matters. His sector expertise covers mining, energy, infrastructure and financial services. He is also regarded as one of the leading construction law specialists in South Africa. He has BLC and LLB degrees from the University of Pretoria and is a member of the Society for Construction Law, the South African Restructuring and Insolvency Practitioners Association, and the International Association of Restructuring, Insolvency and Bankruptcy Professionals. He is also a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
