Position

Co-Lead of the firm’s National Energy Group and Partner in the firm’s Toronto office. Significant experience representing domestic and foreign investors and sponsors in a variety of conventional and energy transition assets, including electricity transmission and distribution, district energy, energy storage, hydrogen, and all electricity generation technologies including nuclear. Has assisted financial institutions and borrowers on project financings and re-financings of power projects across Canada and in the US. Regularly acts for project developers and sponsors negotiating commercial arrangements in the sector, including power purchase and energy service agreements, and joint-venturing and Indigenous participation arrangements.
