White & Case LLP setzt die wirtschaftsverwaltungsrechtliche Expertise sowohl für Ministerien, Länder und Abgeordnete als auch namhafte, internationale Unternehmen ein, wobei die Praxis insbesondere in den Automobil- und Verkehrsindustrien, dem Medien- und Telekommunikationssektor sowie der Finanz- und Energiewirtschaft über regulatorische Beratungs- sowie Prozesserfahrung verfügt; Kompetenzen bestehen zudem im Verfassungsrecht. Die im öffentlichen Wirtschaftsrecht versierten Norbert Wimmer (Medien, Telekommunikation, Verkehr und Infrastruktur) und Henning Berger (Finanzwirtschaft) leiten die Praxis gemeinsam. Der im Juni 2024 zum Partner ernannte Erasmus Hoffmann fokussiert sich auf Nachhaltigkeitsanforderungen sowie regulatorische Sachverhalte im Zusammenhang mit kritischen Technologien und Infrastrukturen.

Das Umwelt- und Planungsrechtsteam von White & Case LLP begleitet ein breites Themenspektrum und setzt Akzente in der Beratung zum Netzausbau, der Energiewende sowie im Dekarbonisierungsbereich. So zeigt man sich auch in der Betreuung von Verkehrsinfrastrukturprojekten, wie jüngst im Bereich E-Mobility und damit einhergehender Ladeinfrastruktur, erfahren sowie in der Begleitung von Genehmigungs- und Planfeststellungsverfahren, der transaktionsbegleitenden Projektarbeit und in Emissionsthemen. Praxisgruppenleiter Norbert Wimmer betreut oftmals öffentliche Körperschaften und Unternehmen bei Infrastrukturvorhaben, während Anna Burghardt-Kaufmann mit Expertise zu Immissionsschutz-, Wasser- und Bodenschutzrecht überzeugt. Erasmus Hoffmann (Regulatorik, ESG) schloss sich dem Team im Juni 2024 von Hengeler Mueller an.

White & Case LLP‘s environmental and planning law team covers a wide range with particular expertise in network expansion,  energy transition and decarbonisation. The group is also experienced in transport infrastructure projects, most recently with regards to ​​e-mobility and associated charging infrastructure, as well as in approval and planning approval procedures, transaction-related project work and emissions issues. Practice head Norbert Wimmer frequently advises public bodies and companies on infrastructure projects, while Anna Burghardt-Kaufmann impresses with experience in emission control, water and soil protection law.
