Career

Jeff Malonson is a partner in Weil’s Private Equity practice. Jeff advises infrastructure funds, private equity funds, portfolio companies, boards of directors and special committees in their most important strategic transactions, including: mergers, acquisitions and divestitures; private capital solutions; capital markets; SEC reporting, corporate governance and compliance; and restructurings and reorganizations. Jeff represents private equity-backed portfolio companies on merger and acquisition transactions, and he regularly counsels private equity firms pursuing strategic investments and divestitures in public and private companies and partnerships. He represents private equity funds and management teams, public and private investors, and underwriters in initial public offerings, as well as other public offerings and private placements of equity (including structured PIPES offerings) and debt securities. Jeff also advises public company clients on compliance with periodic reporting, proxy solicitation, corporate governance, and a variety of other SEC and stock exchange compliance matters.
