Dr. Florian Schiefer advises clients on international corporate and group tax law, international tax planning, transaction tax, real estate taxation, and investment taxation.

Prior to joining McDermott, Florian worked as a research assistant at the Chair of Business Taxation at the University of Bamberg and completed his doctorate in 2014. He then worked for several years as a chartered tax advisor for a reputable international law firm in Berlin and Frankfurt.

Florian is the author of numerous articles and publications on topics surrounding national and international tax law. He is a lecturer for international tax law at the University of Bamberg and a frequent speaker on tax issues.
