Clients seek Nathalie Jalabert-Doury’s representation in all aspects of antitrust and competition law at both the European and French level, including cartels; concerted practices and abuse of dominance; mergers; horizontal and vertical agreements; state aid and public procurement.

She spends significant time in Brussels and assists parties in cases before the European Commission and the European Court of Justice.

Nathalie handles a number of merger and FDI cases every year. She notably assists companies in structuring complex transactions (full-function and non-full-function ventures; strategic alliances; build-ups; hostile takeovers) and has acquired significant experience in various specific industries such as in the building materials, transport, food and luxury sectors.

She is a leading practitioner in the field of dawn raids, advising companies on the upstream preparation and management of inspections by the European Commission and national competition authorities. She has authored well-known practical guides intended for legal departments on antitrust inspections.

Nathalie has advised companies over 20 years in a number of hardcore cartel, resale price maintenance and bid-rigging cases in a wide range of industries.

On the dominance side, Nathalie represents leading companies that are investigated by the competition authorities or sued before courts and she notably advises several companies holding exclusive or special rights on their activities in competitive markets.

Nathalie also handles a number of cases before the Polynesian and New Caledonian competition authorities.

Nathalie is active as a Non-Governmental Advisor to the French Competition Authority and to the Polynesian Competition Authority within the International Competition Network (ICN), an international network of more than 100 competition authorities worldwide which aims to promote convergence between competition laws and policies and cooperation between its members, in order to improve the effectiveness of competition regulation internationally.
