Position

Benjamin Carale, head of the firm’s Philippines-focused team, represents issuers and underwriters on a full spectrum of cross-border corporate finance and securities transactions in the Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, and the PRC.

Mr. Carale draws on his deep connection to the Philippines and a sophisticated understanding of the global markets to guide clients through all aspects of:

    • Initial public offerings, follow-on transactions, rights offerings, and block trades
    • Investment-grade and high-yield debt offerings
    • Tender offers, exchange offers, and other liability management transactions
    • Mergers and acquisitions, investments, and joint ventures

Having practiced in New York, the Philippines, and Hong Kong, Mr. Carale forges trusted relationships with clients to bridge local business practice and cultural divides and effectively consummate transactions. He unlocks the resources of the firm’s robust global platform to help his clients achieve their capital-raising and other corporate objectives.

Mr. Carale serves on the firm’s Finance Committee, and he previously served on the Recruiting Committee and Associates Committee.

A recognized thought leader, he regularly speaks at industry conferences on securities law, including with Philippine market participants and regulators.
