Position
Costa represents domestic and international financial institutions, fund managers, investment advisers, insurance brokers, FinTech and payments clients on a broad range of financial services regulatory, ESG and compliance matters. He routinely acts for institutional clients advising on all aspects of the UK financial services regulatory framework. He also regularly advises on the UK FCA authorisation and conduct rules, change in control requirements, the regulatory framework for alternative investment fund managers, including the AIFMD assets stripping, pre-marketing and marketing rules, PRIIPS, international funds private placement frameworks, EU SFDR and UK SDR regimes.
Mr. Burkov has experience in advising clients on global regulatory compliance programmes, cross-border offering of products and services, financial sanctions, market abuse, financial crimes and anti-money laundering legislation.
