Career

Tim Burbury is a partner in the Corporate Finance and Investments practice. Tim is co-deputy of Global Energy & Project Finance and Global Infrastructure. He is a member of the Firm’s AEC Committee. Tim has extensive construction and infrastructure experience. For nearly 25 years, Tim has represented sovereign wealth funds, State-owned entities, giga and master developers, energy and utility companies and strategic infrastructure clients and infrastructure funds  on their construction transactions and infrastructure & PPP projects and project financings.

Tim has led teams on many high profile infrastructure projects, including 6 of Saudi Arabia’s Vision2030 PPPs (solar, wind, desalination, wastewater); the DEWA, Sharjah and Fujairah 3 I(W)PPs in the UAE, the Saadiyat Island Mega Project in Abu Dhabi and several confidential giga projects in the Middle East.
