(Leading associates)Under the leadership of the ‘outstanding’ Ben Larkin, Jones Day‘s ‘very experienced and knowledgeable’ team has gained particular market recognition for insolvency matters with a contentious angle. A ‘very commercial and enormously experienced restructuring lawyer’, Larkin himself is, however, equally at home handling non-contentious work for a range of stakeholders, including creditors, IPs and corporates. Similarly, David Hardinghas superb non-contentious smarts and is well-versed at utilising varied European restructuring tools to best serve debtor clients, in addition to advising funds as creditors/investors on restructuring and distressed investment opportunities. Adam Brown is an ‘exceptionally clever and strategically astute’ insolvency litigator, whose expertise has included high-preference claim and asset tracing matters. Hannah Plumb assists Larkin in non-contentious restructurings and contentious insolvencies.
