Zachary Sharpe
Career
Zac Sharpe is a partner in the Global Disputes practice at Jones Day in Singapore where his practice focuses on international arbitration and cross-border disputes. Zac has extensive experience with complex disputes across a range of industries, including oil and gas, industrial and power plants, mining, infrastructure, technology, manufacturing, shipbuilding and offshore construction. He acts as counsel in arbitrations under the major institutional rules in Asia, Europe and the Middle East.
His practice spans a range of commercial disputes, including engineering and construction, joint venture and shareholder disputes, misrepresentation and fraud, warranty and indemnity claims, breach of confidentiality and intellectual property cases. Zac also advises clients on investor-state claims arising under bilateral and multilateral investment treaties.
Zac is dual-qualified in New York and England and Wales and worked in Korea for nearly a decade before moving to Singapore. He is well-versed in both civil and the common law approaches to dispute resolution and regularly advises clients on complex disputes involving multiple jurisdictions and a confluence of legal traditions.
