Holly Sara is an experienced litigator and advisor with a strong track record in handling high-profile, complex matters. Her nearly 15 years’ experience includes representations for listed and unlisted corporations, financial institutions and corporate executives, and spans disputes across the health care and life sciences, energy and resources, technology, funds, property and development, consumer goods, and manufacturing sectors, among others.

Holly has represented clients in many of Australia’s highest-profile and most complex class actions, commercial disputes, regulatory prosecutions, and government inquiries. She is particularly skilled in handling matters involving cross-border elements and local and foreign regulators (such as ASIC, ACCC and AUSTRAC, and their foreign equivalents).  Holly has led matters to trial and on appeal in the superior courts across all Australian jurisdictions, including on appeal to the High Court of Australia. She has represented clients in numerous government inquiries, including Royal Commissions, Commissions of Inquiry, and Senate Committee Inquiries. She is also experienced in all forms of alternative dispute resolution.

Holly’s advisory work includes counselling clients on regulatory issues and compliance, including ESG reporting requirements. She leads the firm’s ESG work in Australia.
