Career
Nicholas A. Bedo is a member of the firm’s Commercial Disputes practice group. He focuses his practice on general and complex commercial litigation across a variety of industries with a concentration on construction and business disputes, including copyright and trademark protections and fiduciary litigation.
Nick regularly assists clients with construction disputes in state and federal courts in Georgia and across the Southeast. He has appeared on behalf of owners, contractors and subcontractors in the development and construction of a variety of projects, including manufacturing and processing plants, liquefaction plants and highway projects. His construction dispute experience includes resolving disputes related to nonpayment, defective construction and defective design.
Nick graduated from the University of Georgia, earning baccalaureate degrees in history and religion, and obtained his J.D. from the Wake Forest School of Law, where he served as an Executive Editor of the Wake Forest Law Review. He also was a member of Wake Forest’s Moot Court Board and Wake Forest’s National Trial Team, on which he participated as a member of the 2018 National Championship Team. As a student in Wake Forest’s Appellate Advocacy Clinic, Nick co-authored an amicus brief filed in the Supreme Court of the United States.
