Thomas Phillips is chair of Brown Rudnick’s Global Real Estate Leasing Practice Group and has been practicing commercial real estate and land use law for over 30 years. Tom advises owners, developers, landlords, tenants, lenders, and investors in a variety of property acquisitions/sales, leases, development and permitting projects, debt and equity financings, workouts/restructurings, and other sophisticated real estate transactions. While his practice spans all asset classes, he has particular experience working with retail, leisure, hospitality and mixed-use properties. He is the immediate past chair of the ICSC (International Council of Shopping Centers) Legal Advisory Council and a past ICSC state director. In 2022, he was a recipient of the ICSC Trustees’ Distinguished Service Award.
